Years in business: 50
Fun fact: The Chatham Bookseller is the site of the town's original children's reading room. While the store has been here for over 50 years, this year it has its first woman owner and operator.
Explore our community: The Chatham Bookseller is next door to The Nature of Reading Bookshop, which is also on the crawl list. We will also have a free zine, we make in store, for visitors giving them ideas and recommendations on what to see/do/eat in Madison.
Staff picks: We are an eclectic bunch with tastes in books that range from classic to camp.
“Whether you’re looking for your next book club pick, a cozy evening read or a unique edition of a long-time favorite, our outgoing and knowledgeable staff are always happy to help you. We are committed to making purchasing books affordable and sustainable without sacrificing quality or selection; from new releases to rare vintage titles, you can always find something special within your budget. For the ephemera and oddity lovers, we also offer a fun selection of vintage postcards, playbills, sketches and more.”
